Traditional in nature, the curriculum allows students to develop specialized talents in various academic areas.

The curriculum of Bishop Verot Catholic High School is designed to challenge and meet the changing needs of each student in order to develop his/her intellectual capabilities and succeed in his/her individual thinking, speaking, reading, and writing activities within each discipline. Academic courses are offered on college preparatory, honors, and Advanced Placement levels.

Curriculum

Bishop Verot Catholic High School curriculum consists of the state required courses for graduation, along with Religious Studies and a wide range of electives. Course work is offered in standard college prep, honors, and Advanced Placement (AP) instruction. 

Placement for required courses is based on the student's history of achievement, grades, and teacher recommendations. Electives are selected by the student based on their level of interest and skill, and openings in the class.

Special learning needs are met with services provided by our Learning Resource Program. This program provides assistance and support to students with diagnosed learning disabilities.

Bishop Verot Catholic High School is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
