Kap Owens and Zak Gibson advance to Tennis State Championship

Thursday, April 30, 2009 (Altamonte Springs, FL) Bishop Verot's doubles tennis partners Kap Owens and Zak Gibson advanced to the State Finals on Thursday morning after defeating Wakulla High School of Crawfordville, FL.  Gibson and Owens will play for the State Championship on Friday morning


Wednesday, April 29, 2009 (Altamonte Springs, FL) Bishop Verot's boy's and girl's doubles tennis teams advanced to the state-semi finals on Wednesday in Altamonte Springs. 

Linda Korneinko and Mariel Rickert defeated a team from Bartow 6-0, 6-0. 

Kap Owens and Zak Gibson defeated Nature Coast 6-2, 6-2 and a team from Palm Coast 6-2, 3-6, 7-6.
