Spanish Honor Society Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese to honor students who have an above average in Spanish after 4 semesters of study.   The Bishop Verot Catholic High School chapter is Las Palmas and was established in 2006.  An induction ceremony is held during the Fall.  Students are nominated by the faculty based on their cumulative average in Spanish, 3.75.  The members of our chapter tutor students in Spanish during tutorial in Room 330.
