College Counseling at Bishop Verot

Personalized Guidance with Mrs. Kelley Kaminsky, MA, MEd, Senior Counselor

At Bishop Verot Catholic High School, our College Counseling program supports students in discovering colleges and universities that best match their interests, strengths, values, and goals. Led by our senior counselor, Mrs. Kelley Kaminsky, the program is grounded in two guiding principles:

  • The college search is a developmental journey that builds critical research and decision-making skills.

  • College selection should be a personalized process, ensuring the best fit between student and institution.

A Four-Year Journey

Beginning freshman year, students participate in age-appropriate programming that introduces the college process and builds year by year. By senior year, students are fully supported as they navigate applications and make final college decisions.

Support for Families

Parents are valuable partners in this journey. Each year, we offer events and resources to help families understand the process and effectively support their student.

One-on-One Attention

Mrs. Kaminsky works closely with every senior to provide individualized counseling. From college lists to applications and final decisions, students receive the personal attention they need to succeed.
