Coach Rode began his high school coaching career in Lee County as the Offensive Coordinator at Fort Myers High School. He was later hired to lead Cypress Lake High School beginning with the 2016 season, where he was able to turn the struggling Panthers into a winning program. His coaching acumen has made him a rising star among football coaches in SW Florida. Coach Rode begins his tenure with the Bishop Verot Vikings beginning with the 2021 season. Coach Rode is the husband of Bishop Verot alum, Stephanie (Healy) Rode ‘97, who is a teacher at St. Andrew Catholic School. The Rodes’ have three children, Charles, Justin and Brooklyn and one grandchild, Jocelynn.
