Seniors will receive their cap and gown for graduation in early May. There is no cost.

My SchoolBucks Accounts – End of Year Information
- Leftover funds for underclassmen carry over to next year
- Please turn off the Auto/Pay feature with the MySchoolBucks account, if needed
- SENIORS: Any transfer of funds to another account need to be requested before June 20th
- SENIORS: Leftover funds will be available for refund in mid-July by contacting Finance Director at kathleen.houghton@bvhs.org
FINAL TUITION PAYMENT
Final Tuition payments will be deducted on June 5, 2026 or June 20, 2026 depending on your individual tuition plan. If you need to prepay your final tuition payment due to your senior needing transcripts sent to their college or university immediately after graduation for summer school, please contact our Finance Director at kathleen.houghton@bvhs.org.
SERVICE HOURS – Wednesday, April 1
All documented service hours are due by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Students must have a total of 30 documented hours for the school year at a pre approved not-for-profit service site. Failure to turn in documented hours by the deadline will result in a Saturday detention for each week until the hours are completed. Students MUST complete the 30 hours in order to graduate.
* Students who still have outstanding hours after this due date will not be permitted to participate in any senior activities.
PROM - Saturday, May 2
The Senior Prom will be held at the Luminary Hotel from 7:30 - 10:00 p.m. All guests must arrive by 8:00 p.m. - no late admittance will be allowed. Tickets are now on sale through Friday, May 1st on GoFan.

Failure to adhere to Dress Code will result In not being allowed into the Prom. If you have questions about your attire,
please speak with Dr. Otis in advance to avoid any issues on the day of Prom.
This year's Non-Verot Date Form is now available. This form must be completed and returned by Monday, April 27th. It is important that you read this PDF in full if you intend to bring someone outside of school as your guest. There is a section in red that needs to be signed by your parent in addition to the section that asks for their phone number at the top. If your intentions are to bring a Bishop Verot sophomore as your date, the Sophomore Prom Date Form is now available. This must also be turned in by Monday, April 27th. Freshmen (Outside and Bishop Verot) cannot attend Prom, so please keep that in mind when asking dates. All dates are expected to adhere to the dress code guidelines provided by Bishop Verot.
SENIOR AWARDS ASSEMBLY – Friday, May 1
The annual Senior Awards Assembly will be held in the Anderson Theater at 9:30 a.m. Parents are welcome to attend, but must check in early to the Main Office upon arrival.
Senior Rosary - Wednesday, May 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Please plan to join together for the praying of the Rosary over our senior class on Wednesday, May 6th at 6:30 p.m. in the Senior Courtyard.

SENIOR SUNSET – Wednesday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. This event is for students only.
This is an event that began last year. It will take place on May 6th and will start at 7:00 p.m. All Verot Seniors are invited to the baseball field that evening to watch the sunset the night before their last full day of high school. Seniors should bring their tie-dye shirts and a marker for the traditional shirt signing (shirts may be worn on Thursday, May 7). Verot will be providing music and games for everyone to enjoy. Freshman Retreat letters will also be distributed during this event.
AP EXAMINATIONS – Monday, May 4 - Friday, May 15
Students will not be required to attend any of their regular schedule classes on a day they are taking an AP exam. For more information, Click Here.
LAST DAY OF CLASSES FOR SENIORS - Thursday, May 7
YONDR POUCHES - Thursday, May 7
Yondr pouches will be collected from seniors on their last day of classes, Thursday, May 7th. If a senior fails to return a Yondr Pouch, they will be charged $50.
SENIOR EXAMS - Friday, May 8, Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12
Students who have earned a 93 or above for both quarters in a class will be exempt from the Final Exam (This does not apply to AP courses).
SPELLAMANIA – Wednesday, May 13
Spellamania will be held in the Nevins Gymnasium at 1:30 p.m. Seniors should plan to arrive by 1:00 p.m. Parents are welcome - please check in to the Main Office upon arrival.
MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE – *UPDATE* Thursday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m.
All seniors report to the Theater at 1:00 p.m. for practice. Students must be on time or they will assist Dr. Otis and Mr. Hiller in cleaning up Verot for Graduation. Students who do not attend will not participate in graduation.
BACCALAUREATE MASS – Friday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m.
Students must arrive to St. Columbkille Catholic Church (12171 Iona Rd, Fort Myers, FL 33908) no later than 4:05 p.m., dressed appropriately. Graduates must attend the Baccalaureate Mass in order to participate in graduation.
STUDENTS MUST ABIDE BY THE DRESS CODE FOR THE BACCALAUREATE MASS AND GRADUATION CEREMONY:

BACCALAUREATE RECEPTION - Friday, May 15 immediately following Mass
You’re Invited!
Please join us for a Baccalaureate Reception honoring the Class of 2026, immediately following the Baccalaureate Mass.
Thanks to the generous hospitality of St. Columbkille, light refreshments and soft drinks will be available in the Parish Center. We invite you to stop by, enjoy a light treat, and celebrate with our graduates as you head into your evening plans.

GRADUATION TICKETS
Graduation tickets are available for pick-up on Monday, May 4 for floor seating only. Each family is allotted two (2) floor tickets. Students may stop by to pick up the tickets from Ms. Sim between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
We have a limited number of extra tickets for the floor. When your son or daughter picks up your tickets, please let Ms. Sim know if you would like extra floor ticket(s) and how many you would like. Your name will be placed on a waiting list. The extra tickets will be given out on Wednesday, May 13.
Additional seating is available in the bleachers on a first come, first serve basis. There is not a limit to the number of guests per family sitting in the bleachers and you do not need tickets for the bleachers.
Doors will open to the John J. Nevins Gymnasium at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 16.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY
For those needing wheelchair accessibility, please e-mail Ms. Sim at Suzanne.Sim@bvhs.org so we can reserve an appropriate space for your family members. We will reserve 2 seats with your name on them.
GRADUATION – Saturday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m.
Graduates should park in the back of the gym and arrive in the cafeteria no later than 9:00 a.m. Don't forget your tassels or cords.
*As a reminder, Bishop Verot is a No Smoking campus - smoking of celebratory cigars after the ceremony is not permitted anywhere on campus.
